Tea Parties, Intrepid Speeches, and Revolutions Oh My!

  This has been a busy week for the grassroots conservative revolution. Obama’s double talking, hubris filled speech could not have been a better impulsion for the already angry Americans wanting to take action against the now infamous ‘porkulous’ bill. I received an email last week telling me about ‘tea parties’ springing up all around the country. Yes these parties were a throw back to those cheeky patriots, who had it up to their eyeballs with the ‘taxation without representation’ and decided to voice their frustrations through a symbolic tea dumping gesture. The parties ranged in size all over the U.S. Each of them brimming with disgusted freedom loving Americans, able to have their voice heard, protest, meet others who feel this country no longer belongs to the citizens, and most importantly- NETWORK. That’s right folks, rub elbows, make connections, meet other people who are hellbent on being pro-active, no longer willing to sit back and watch this country turn into Soviet Russia. See we have something the minute men militia, and the red-blooded Patriots did not- mass communication through technology: Television and the Internet, working together synergistically to connect people and usher in a revitalized era in American politics, the power and the voice of the people. 32 States have already begun to enact legislation for state sovereignty granted by the 10th amendment to U.S constitution, so it seems the phrase: ‘we the people’ might still apply to this Democratic Republic. As if the momentum from the nationwide protests wasn't enough to make Archduke Obama, and Princess Pelosi shake in their royal britches, the CPAC convention went off with a cataclysmic bang this weekend (oh be afraid Liberal Oligarchy, be very afraid). It seems the man who has been the liberal whistleblower for the past 15 years, yes RUSH, has stepped forward to be the leader and the new voice for the Republican Party. Rush nailed his speech at CPAC, some highlights (paraphrasing): Conservatives have not laid out who they are, we love people…. Conservatives have been under assault… we don’t to tell people how to live, that is up to them if they succeed or fail. We have seen so much waste, 50 years of a welfare state, war on poverty, racism in culture… If we want the country to succeed the individual must succeed… Our beliefs are not the result of a deranged psychology, we do not have to make notes, and we can tell people what we believe off the top of our heads… We need conservative leadership; we must nominate the right candidate… Obama is so busy inciting class envy, he has forgotten it is not his money he is spending; He is spending wealth that has yet to be created, which always fails. Longest war in history? The War on poverty… Reagan got us out of the Carter recession with tax cuts.” These were just a few key excerpts from Rush’s speech. It was a brilliant and articulate illustration of where we’ve been, where we are, and where we are going as a country under attack from within. It seems the stars are beginning to align in this country; leaders emerging, citizens and states reclaiming their constitutional rights, and a country ready to attack the three-headed beast that is the Obama administration. Those feisty patriots would be damn proud. I leave with the beginning of the ultimate anarchist battle cry- The Declaration of Independence: “When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.
