Don't Look to Me For White Guilt

I was just subjected to one of the most pathetic posts I have ever had the displeasure to read. Michael Skolnik, Editor in Chief of Global Grind wrote this (Partial. If you want to read the rest, you can read it here) piece about Trayvon Martin ten days ago:

"I will never look suspicious to you. Even if I have a black hoodie, a pair of jeans and white sneakers on… In fact, that is what I wore yesterday… I still will never look suspicious. No matter how much the hoodie covers my face or how baggie my jeans are, I will never look out of place to you. I will never watch a taxi cab pass me by to pick someone else up. I will never witness someone clutch their purse tightly against their body as they walk by me. I won’t have to worry about a police car following me for two miles, so they can “run my plates.” I will never have to pay before I eat. And I certainly will never get “stopped and frisked.” I will never look suspicious to you, because of one thing and one thing only. The color of my skin. I am white."

"So, today I decided to hit the ball. Making a choice. A choice to stand up for Trayvon Martin. 17 years old. black. innocent. murdered with a bag of skittles and a bottle of ice tea in his hands. “Suspicious.” that is what the guy who killed him said he looked like cause he had on a black hoodie, a pair of jeans and white sneakers. But, remember I had on that same outfit yesterday. And yes my Air Force Ones were “brand-new” clean. After all, I was raised in hip-hop…part of our dress code. I digress. Back to Trayvon and the gated community in Sanford, Florida, where he was visiting his father."

Wow. Where do I even start? You look suspicious to me, Michael. To me, you scream "I'm a liberal moron, and I want what you have." So yes, I would in fact clutch my purse closer to my body if you walked by.

There are some things we assume about people. Take me for instance. I have red hair. You would automatically assume that I burn easily in the sun. But you'd be wrong. I'm Italian and I tan easily.

Take my partner Sharon. You would look at her and make a dumb blond joke, and you'd be so wrong she'd smack you upside your head for your ignorance.

So let's face this head on, and quit pussy-footing around the issue.

Trayvon Martin was in fact high on pot, so yes he was possibly looking paranoid, thus suspicious. He was not known in a neighborhood plagued by break-ins committed by a young black male. Trayvon Martin, despite the media's attempt to keep him perpetually 12 years old, was in fact a big 17 year old thug with a grill, illegal tattoos, and a record of drug possession, probable burglary, and violence. The reason he was wandering around with Skittles and an Arizona Watermelon drink was because he had the munchies. Another question to be asked, which you conveniently omit, is what was a 17 year old doing out that late on a school night? Oh. Right. He was suspended from school again. This time for drug possession.

Trayvon Martin beat the living crap out of George Zimmerman. Zimmerman sustained a broken nose, black eyes, and gashes to the back of his head. He claims self-defense.

Trayvon Martin sustained several wounds himself. Multiple abrasions on his knuckles. And one gunshot would. Straight through the heart.

Yes, Trayvon Martin was black. He looked suspicious. Zimmerman was fed up with these break-ins and followed him. When Zimmerman lost track of Martin, he was returning to his vehicle when Martin began the altercation. Lesson here? Don't be a little thug and think you're going to always walk away the winner. One less criminal.

"For heaven's sake, for 24 hours he was a deceased John Doe at the hospital because even the police couldn't believe that maybe he LIVES in the community."

So then I guess his father didn't much care where he was, what he was doing, or if he was living? I know damn well where my kids are at all hours. Daddy didn't care until he saw $$$$. They immediately Trademarked their son's name, hired race baiting attorneys and ran to the media like a hooker to a car stopped on a street corner.

Your white guilt issues are pathetic. Your championing of this moron is even worse. Maybe you should take a look at Trayvon Martin's Twitter account, because your No_Limit_Nigga wasn't the innocent poor black kid in a hoodie as you like to portray him.

Don't look to me for white guilt. You'll waste your life trying to find it.

Don't worry Obama-supporters. I already know. I'm a racist. Got it.
