How Bad Can a Second Obama Term Really Be?

The Democrats took one in the ol’ turd clipper last week courtesy of the voters of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts!  The special election for the US Senate seat held by the late Edward M. Kennedy was won by a Republican.  Most Americans…Americans, were rejoicing as this was indeed a rebuke of Barack Obama and his psychopathic policies.  Nonetheless, Amateur Hour at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue continues…now I’m just trying to figure out how delighted I am.

The Wall Street Journal’s Jonathan Weisman writes in “White House Toughens Tone; Amid Concern About Midterms, Obama Boosts Staff and Emphasizes Jobs”, “Coming off one of the most difficult weeks of his presidency, Barack Obama has beefed up his political staff and is expected to deliver an uncompromising State of the Union address. Aides said Sunday that the White House wasn't making any abrupt policy shifts, even as the message was retooled to focus more sharply on job creation.”

“If anything, an unfinished agenda from 2009 will grow larger as, in addition to tackling health care and unemployment, the president presses for a bipartisan commission to tackle the budget deficit against resistance from Republicans.”

“White House officials said Obama campaign manager David Plouffe would be brought on as a political consultant as the White House gears up for the midterm elections.”

OK, so Barry Soetoro, aka Barack Obama, is going to give a tough speech that “was retooled to focus more sharply on job creation.”  Hmmn, remember the so called stimulus bill?  You know, the thing that if not passed, according to Obama, would lead to eight percent unemployment…but it did pass, and, unemployment is more than 10 percent.  Well then Barry, what were you doing during your first year as president?  Let’s see here, he spent trillions of dollars, took over American industries, apologized for America all across the earth, bowed in subservience to Islamic monarchs and other world “leaders”, came to the aid of a militant Harvard professor, inched us closer to Marxism, and the list goes on.  But things are looking up as he will give an “uncompromising State of the Union address” and, the addition of more political hacks to his inner sanctum of lifelong government dregs who gather, worship, and dance around the carved golden cow we know as Barack Hussein Obama mmm mmm mmm.

Let us suppose that in 49 weeks both Houses of Congress, or at least one of them, has a majority of Republicans.  Let us also suppose that a few constitutional freedoms are restored and working people and businesses are given tax cuts, and more people are working and therefore the economy bounces back.  Chances are that we will have another four damn years of Obama.  Remember 1994; Republicans stormed Congress, did some good things, Clinton received all of the credit (and a little more), and was reelected.

Since it is obvious that Obama is not Clinton and will undoubtedly forge ahead with his maniacal agenda designed to destroy the United States, do we really want both Houses of Congress in Republican hands?  I’m leaning 53-47 yes.  A large enough majority in Congress can pass or defeat anything.  Granted, Obama still blames past and present elected Republicans for his dismal failure as man and president, and will continue to do so.  But (hopefully), with a Congress that can/will thwart his agenda that is Marxist to the core, although he will still be president and the face of America, policy wise he can’t hurt us…unless Republicans let him.

For the first time in my adult life, I am proud of Massachusetts.

Five Finger Shoes

The marketed primary use for the Five Finger Shoes Trek is for off-road trail running. The tougher sole will suit many other uses where a thicker more protective sole is preferred. The fit is extremely snug. The forefoot is well protected against sharp objects while still providing decent ground-feel. It is very likely that many that use FiveFingers products for sports of any kind may find the extra protection preferable to the regular thin-soled Five Fingers Shoes. Due to the new sole design and the more water resistant leather upper, the Treks are better suited for wet weather conditions than any other FiveFingers model. Although many of the FiveFingers products are used as “water shoes” the Treks design may not be as well-suited for in-water use.
