Another Democrat Caught With His Panties...er, Pants Down

Well now, Dear Readers, is there anything more enjoyable than airing other people's dirty laundry? Exposing the bones of their desperately hidden skeletons?

I don't think so.

So here's one to snicker at over lunch, if you can keep that BLT down after viewing these pictures.

But who is this? Why it's none other than Democrat Mayor of East Cleveland Eric Brewer! I'm too sexy for my shirt. Yeah, that's for sure, since you aren't wearing one, Mayor!

But really, the real story here isn't just about Mayors who dress in drag and the women who love them, or at least love to take pictures of them and expose their foibles to the world. It's about the great track record East Cleveland has in electing competent leadership.

Take for example, East Cleveland's very first mayor, Darryl E. Pittman, who didn't even have a clue where the city's water was being pumped, resulting in a $2 million deficit in a city of 25,000.( I don't have to tell you what party affiliation he was, do I?) Before he was defeated, Pittman convinced another moron, U.S. Rep. Louis Stokes (D, AGAIN) to support a congressional ammendment that named East Cleveland a Direct Entitlement City, a designation that awarded the city with more than $1 million a year in direct funding from HUD.

Out with Pittman, in with Wallace D. Davis, *cough* another Dem *cough*. The HUD money was severely mismanaged and sqaundered under the Davis administration by the Head of the Department of Community Development, Emmanuel W. Onunwor, an African Immigrant who hails from one of the world's most corrupt countries, Nigeria. Surely he would see the necessity of keeping government honest. Sure. Because of the severity of Onunwor's "mismanagement", hundreds of houses were boarded up, and HUD demanded the return of its funds after two state and federal audits.

Oh, by the way, Onunwor was sentenced to 9 years in the Federal pokey, but not before the idiots of East Cleveland elected him Mayor in 1997, served 8 years and then was indicted on racketeering, bribery, and tax evasion charges. In a desperate attempt to save his political party, he switched from a Dem to a Republican, and in fact the common consensus in 2004 was that if he wasn't immediately imprisoned he would have been re-elected!

The icing on the cake however is the President of East Cleveland's city council, O. Mays, who was unanimously elected to his position by his council peers. Unfortunately, Mays was accused of forcibly raping a teenage boy in 1979, in addition to failing to pay his pesky property taxes. O. Mays would have taken over as Mayor if Owunwor was convicted during his term.

Let's look at East Cleveland's school system, just for fun. Now don't get me wrong, it's a sad day when children are "mismanaged" as well, but it certainly explains the brilliance of future Democrats. Out of 22 possible state performance indicators, East Cleveland has only ever acheived a grand total of 6, and has never made adequate yearly progress. Ouch.

But hey, their firefighters are forced to mow grass in municipal parks on their off hours, the police are famous for their abuse, and their jail wardens are notorious for looking the other way while prisoners "escape".

I hope you've enjoyed this glimpse into a veritable Democrat bastion. Let's hope their next mayor will manage to keep his pants on!
